Ozomatli is a seven piece band playing primarily Latin, hip hop, and rock music, formed in 1995 in Los Angeles. They are known both for their vocal activist viewpoints and their wide array of musical styles - including salsa, jazz, funk, reggae, rap, and others.
Fire Away was released on April 20, 2010 as the follow up album to Don't Mess With Dragon. On its fifth studio album, Ozomatli shows a remarkable ability to innovate with its most expansive and energetic set in years. Singles from the album include "Elysian Persuasion" and "Gay Vatos In Love".
