Razmataz is a story about the meeting between old europe and young black music. And the meeting takes place in the city that produces the most resonance to that evnet: Paris, Europe, on the cusp of cultural change, is respresented in the story by a series of symbolic characters: the rich bourgeoisie, the expressionist artist from berlin, the italian man of the world, the parisin haute-couturier, the sporty englishman, the lady detective-story writer...the work in its finished form involves a mixture of different techniques: narrative voice, dialouges and monolouges, sound effects, drawings and soundtrack with original music and songs (including 8 brand new paolo conte tracks never released before)
