If you're into blues and blues/rock music, this is a must. Texas Sugar/Strat Magic is an impressive debut album! It's blues at its purest. The feeling I have while listening to this album it's like being in a Austin/Texas bar, sipping on an ice-cold beer while listening to great raw blues music! The songwriting and the overall sound/groove of the album has a bit of SRV (sound, style and technique), Austin/Texas blues flavor (obviously he's from there!) but still keeps an original twist to it. Duarte is surely one of the great bluesmen on the scene today.
