No one in America has captured the energy of classic Jump-Blues, like the Bules Jumpers. Every track on this CD is a gem. One of the best things about this band is the unique vocal stylings of Eldrige Taylor. While Eldrige rivals the stylings of 40s-50s Jump-Blues master Wynonie Harris the rest of the band is so tight with thier playing that every song on this CD is guarenteed to fill the dance floor. The best tracks on "Wheels Start Turning" are hard to seporate from the average ones because they all have their special values. The Jumping tracks are "Wheels Start Turning, Chicken Wing and Chartruse". But Swing isn't all about just doing arials and sidecars on the dance floor, this album also includes some great ballads, "Where you found me" is a great broken heart reflection of a lost love. "Jim Bean" explores the lack of motivation on those days when you just don't feel like going to work. Grab this CD while you can and catch the band when you are in the NYC area. Becuase artists like this are few and far between.
